Andrea Newell Greenfield was born in Oak Park, Illinois but has spent most of her life in the West- living in California, Colorado, and Washington. She has been a resident of Tacoma for over 25 years where she happily resides with her husband and children.
Andrea graduated in 1983 from the University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Fine Art. After an extended break to raise and homeschool her four children, she is back to her art. Watercolor is her chosen medium for the moment.
“I enjoy the challenges and possibilities that watercolor presents. I’m particularly drawn to bright colors at this time and am having fun painting vibrant florals and still lifes of produce from the local farmer’s market.”
